MONICA MWONGELI NZIVE

Monica holds a Bachelor of Laws LL.B (Nairobi) 1997). She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Commissioner for Oaths, Certified Public Secretary (C.P.S) and a duly trained Arbitrator. Upon her admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 1999 She practised in the firm of A.F. Gross Advocate until early 2004 she joined two other partners herein to incorporate A.F Gross & Company Advocates which later rebranded to its current name, Michuki & Michuki Advocates.

Her practice areas cover Civil and Commercial Litigation, Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

DAVID MUTHEE MICHUKI

David holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Trade & Investment Law (Nairobi) 2007 and a Bachelor of Laws degree LL.B (Nairobi) 1996. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Commissioner for Oaths, Notary Public, a Certified Public Secretary (C.P.S) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (London) (MCIarb).

Upon his admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 1998, David practised in the firm of A.F Gross Advocate dealing mainly with Civil Litigation. Thereafter he took charge of the Civil Litigation Department in the firm until the year 2002 when he joined Mabati Rolling Mills Limited (MRM) which is the flagship company of the renowned Safal Group of Companies as an in-house counsel. Early 2004 he joined two other partners to form A.F Gross & Company Advocates which later re-branded to the current name, Michuki & Michuki Advocates.

David also served as a member of the Legislation Sub-committee of the Kenya Association of Manufacturers and the Governing Council of Nairobi Central Business District Association (NCBDA). During his time on the Board, he acted as the Association’s Legal Adviser.

Mr. Michuki’s practice areas include Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution, Civil and Commercial Litigation, Corporate Law (including Compliance and Regulatory affairs), Property Law, Intellectual Property Law and Labour Law.
